Welcome to Local Tours Albania ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the booking of our tour services. 
This document is intended to comply with Albanian law and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure that your rights as a customer and your personal data are protected. By using our website or booking a tour with Local Tours Albania , you (the "Customer") agree to the following Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement"). They ensure that both you and our team have a smooth, enjoyable experience and that all expectations are clearly defined. Please read these terms carefully before booking any tour with us.

1. Booking and Confirmation
All bookings must be made through our website or by contacting us directly.
To secure your booking, you must provide accurate information and complete the payment process.
A confirmation email will be sent to you upon successful booking. Your booking is not confirmed until you have received this confirmation.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us immediately.
2. Payment Terms
Full payment or deposit (as specified) is required to confirm your reservation. 
We accept PayPal (full payment online) and Western Union (deposit online, balance in person). 
Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email has been sent.
3. Pricing and Fees
Prices for our tours are listed on our website and are subject to change. However, once you have made a booking and received a confirmation, the price is locked in.
Prices do not include personal expenses, tips, travel insurance, or any other costs not explicitly stated and may be subject to taxes and fees, including VAT as per Albanian law. Any additional charges, such as currency conversion, are the customer’s responsibility.
Any changes or additions to the tour may incur additional charges.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Customer Cancellations: If you cancel your tour, the following refund policy applies:
More than 14 days before the tour: Full refund minus a cancellation fee of 3%.
14 to 7 days before the tour: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days before the tour: No refund.
No-show or late arrival: No refund.
Company Cancellations: If we need to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, natural disasters), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Tour Changes: We reserve the right to modify or cancel the tour at any time. In case of significant changes, we will notify you and provide alternatives.
5. Modifications to Your Booking
If you wish to modify your booking (e.g., change the date or number of participants), please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
6. Health and Safety
By booking a tour, you acknowledge that some tours may involve physical activity or other risks. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate in the tour.
We recommend that you check with a doctor if you have any health concerns or conditions that may affect your ability to participate.
You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our tour guides and staff during the tour.
8. Liability and Insurance
Local Tours Albania is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or losses that occur during the tour.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling by Local Tours Albania we are only liable for the refund of the tour price paid by the customer.
9. Force Majeure
Local Tours Albania is not liable for any failure to perform obligations under this Agreement caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule your tour or provide a refund as appropriate.
10. Customer Conduct
You agree to act respectfully toward the tour guides and fellow participants. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the tour who engages in disruptive behavior or violates safety rules.
Any damage to property or injury caused by inappropriate behavior is the responsibility of the participant.
11. Photography and Media
By participating in a tour, you consent to the taking of photographs, videos, or other media. These may be used by Local Tours Albania for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media, advertisements). If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform your guide in advance.
12. Privacy Policy

By booking a tour, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Albania, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Albania.

Local Tours Albania reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on this page, and the revised date will be updated accordingly.
